Relaxation is about letting go of the weeks pressures and unwinding and chilling out, however you choose.
My favourite is a picnic at McLaren Falls Park. Set on 190 hectares of parkland. My slice of paradise and with so many beautiful walks, my favourite being the waterfall track. This beautiful park is located around 15 minutes south west of Tauranga on the way to Hamilton.
We found a great private picnic spot on the south end of the lake and felt so relaxed there. Reminds me very much of one of my favourite destinations London, at one of their many parks.
Foodsnob provided us with the hamper below. Was such a lovely treat. So many different kinds of cheeses, olives, fig paste and crackers topped with cider we bought along. Was lovely to try these beautiful delicatessen cheeses and the other products complimented perfectly together.

Chilling out and watching the wildlife around me, helped me to zone out from my busy week. You dont even realise your just outside of Tauranga. The waterfall track at McLaren falls is my favourite. It's so pretty walking through native bush, lined with trees and a little river running through it. Once i got to the waterfall my temptation of diving into it was very real but dipping my toes in cooled me down as the water is chilly, great for some amazing pictures.
