One of my trainers at the gym recommended HIIT workouts to me. Which I thought could they really work for me? being a short burst of exercise and energy.

As I am now in my 40's I'm up against time I guess you would say in terms of weight management and strength in my body everything feels alot harder to achieve than in my 20's when I could do two gym classes and walk to the gym.

I was in for a surprise almost like a shock to the body, these super quick workouts give your body the workout it needs and kicks your metabolism into gear.

From running on the beach to weights at home, I prefer to work out at home now due to what's going on in the world, I truly believe that HIIT workouts are a game changer.

High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) it’s a quick workout, that involves bursts of intense exercise paired with periods of rest. It’s great for heart health and is one of the best forms of exercise for building a flexible metabolism.

My favourite session is at the beach. I do 10-15 minutes on the shoreline - walk then run not only does sand work on your legs but the resistance from the water also assists with this.

Try it today you won't be disappointed.

Here is one HIIT session to get you started.
